Book Conference Hotels in Kuala Lumpur

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Amongst all the modern skyscrapers and landmarks from British colonial times, you’ll find some of the city’s best conference hotels. Planning a meeting, conference, presentation or incentive trip? We’ll take care of organising the conference hotels and other services for you.

Conference hotels in Kuala Lumpur – From primeval forest to metropolis

When you think of the origins behind the mega city’s name, it’s hard to believe the metropolis that exists today. Because Kuala Lumpur means ‘muddy confluence’ in Malay. It was here that two primeval forest rivers, the Gombak and the Klang, converged to form a headland. The first adventurers settled here to look for tin, which they ended up finding. And in 1880, the Brits arrived. Frank Sweltenham was commissioned by the Queen and submitted the first drafts for a modern city. The result is what we see today as Kuala Lumpur.

A city with views

Amazing structures, business centres and conference hotels have since emerged. Kuala Lumpur’s most famous buildings are the Petronas Towers, the twin towers soaring 170 metres high, and connected by a glass bridge. The viewing platform on the 86th floor provides the best 360-degree view of the entire city. You can also visit the KLCC Park directly next-door. Because even from afar, the Petronas Towers are a real hotspot for photographs.

Kuala Lumpur, the city with views, is sure to thrill you. The country’s tallest TV tower, the Menara Kuala Lumpur, even enables you to admire the twin towers from above. It’s the only place where you can do this. The tower itself is only 421 metres tall, but is perched on the 90-metre-high Bukit Nanas, which roughly translates to ‘Pineapple Hill’.

To make a change from Kuala Lumpur’s skyscrapers, business districts and modern conference hotels, it’s worth visiting Chinatown. This precinct is much livelier, more vibrant, and home to ethnically Chinese residents. Chinatown really is a feast for the senses.
